Dates: 18th March - 27th March, 2019
Location: El Bahira, San Vito Lo Capo, Sicily
This year the club returned the lovely region of San Vito Lo Capo for their annual tour. One of the main advantages of this location is how close the crags are to the accomodation - the nearest being a 5min walk or less - and meant there was plenty of choice and, most importantly, plenty of time to climb.
The weather was mostly sunny and great for climbing although there were a couple of rainy days (as you can see from our not so sunny group photo). For those who wanted a break from climbing, the town of San Vito Lo Capo was around a 20min walk away (or 10mins if you managed to get yourself a ride) and had restaurants, shops and a sandy beach.
This was my first ever climbing tour and I could not recommend it enough. Massive thanks to Tour Sec's Sam Wright and Kay Karen for organisng such an awesome trip!
